Christmas Programs & Registration 

The Hope Centre with St. Vincent de Paul: 

  • Individual clients and families with youth ages 15 years or older register to receive Christmas support. Grocery gift cards are distributed to registered clients while quantities last.


  • Our thanks to St. Vincent de Paul for their ongoing support of this program.

Salvation Army:

  • The Salvation Army facilitates the Adopt-a-Family program in Welland. Families wishing to be adopted should call 905.735.5700 and make arrangements with the Salvation Army directly. 

Community Christmas Toys:

  • The Salvation Army facilitates this toy drive for
    families who were unable to be adopted this year. Families can shop for toys at the Fitch Street Plaza location. For information on how to access this program please call the Salvation Army directly at 905.735.5700

Koats for Kids:

  • New and gently used coats in good working condition can be accessed between November 1st and December 13th at Central United Church House, 12 Young Street in Welland.

Boots For Kids:

  • Open Arms Mission is distributing boots for children in JK to Grade 8. Please bring proof of address, proof of income and ID for parents/guardians and children. Children receiving boots must be present to try on the boots. Due to limited supply, only open to residents of Welland and Wainfleet. While supplies last, no special requests or orders.

  • Date: November 13, 14 and 15 from 6:00-8:00pm

  • Boots for toddlers and limited amounts of elementary school-aged children on:

  • Tuesday, November 19 9:30-11:45am and 3:30-4:30pm

  • Wednesday, November 20, 9:30-11:45 am and 3:30-4:30 pm

  • Thursday, November 21, 9:30-11:45 am and 3:30-4:30 pm

  • Friday, November 22, 9:30-11:45 am
