About Us
The work of The HOPE Centre is much more than charity. With your help, we provide a full continuum of services and supports to individuals and families who are struggling with poverty related issues.
Mission Statement: The Hope Centre is committed to assisting and strengthening our community by attending to the basic needs of its vulnerable citizens. We also advocate to change the social structures that create their poverty, homelessness, and compromised health and well-being. This is achieved through the dedication of our staff, volunteers and available programs, which are designed to create positive opportunities and provide stability for those in need. To this end, we are committed to helping our community’s disadvantaged citizens support themselves and their families and persevere with a sense of dignity and purpose.
Five Years of Hope
To celebrate the 5th anniversary of the opening of our Emergency Hostel, Hope House, we worked in collaboration with a group of students in Radio and TV Broadcasting at Niagara College to create this video. It is meant to educate viewers about the hostel and also to thank everyone who has contributed to its operation over the past five years!
Volunteer at The Hope Centre
There is always a need for caring volunteers to work for the diverse programs that The HOPE Centre offers. Volunteer work here can be "very rewarding, especially since people at The HOPE Centre are able to provide help at the grassroots level."
The Story of Nourish
Campbell Canada is proud to reveal one of the most meaningful products in our history -- Nourish. It's a complete meal with a full serving of three food groups. We created it because hunger is a growing issue here and abroad, and we know we have a responsibility to get involved.

Courtney Marr of Welland celebrated her 9th birthday on February 11th with a party but NO gifts!!! Courtney asked her guests to donate to The Hope Centre in memory of Julia Turner in lieu of presents. Over $300 was donated! The future looks bright with young people like Courtney in our community!
