and Basic Skills (LBS):Delivered by the Niagara Catholic District
School Board
Assists students with achieving short term
goals as they move toward further training, employment, and
independence |
Adult Drop-In:
- Providing morning fellowship, outreach,
support, information sharing and monthly scheduled evening events
for many.

Koats for Kids:
- Donated winter apparel is provided for
children and adults

Kacey Lynn Fund:
- Financial relief to qualified families with
sick children and little or no insurance coverage.

Christmas Baskets:
- Turkeys and other food items to help
celebrate the holiday season

Jump Start:
- Providing opportunities for children to
play in sports and recreational activities

Training & Leadership Development
- Preparation for employment
- On-the-job training and support provided in
food and administration services

Hope
House: Emergency Hostel
- 24 hours emergency shelter facility with 8
single units for men, 7 single units for women, 2 self-contained
apartments for families, 7-bed dormitory
- All meals and nutritious snacks served
daily; Food and housekeeping services provided in collaboration with
hostel guests
- Full range of holistic support services,
life skills training, assistance with housing searches and
re-settlements needs

Housing Stabilization Program:
- Help tenants find and keep affordable
housing
- Providing information and helping clients
with life skills management and emotional support
- Mediation and liaison with landlords and
community service providers
- Available and affordable housing registry
- Advocate for more affordable housing and
addressing housing needs
- Assistance to pay overdue hydro and gas
bills

Hope Kitchen:
- Hot lunches 5 days per week to individuals
and families, including Hope House guests

Hope Pantry:
- Supplementary groceries, including dairy
products, to registered members once per month
